Extend List of JWA Default Images¶
This guide will walk you through extending the list of the Jupyter Web App (JWA) default images and enabling JWA to use your custom image.
What You’ll Need¶
- A configured management environment.
- Your clone of the Arrikto GitOps repository.
- An existing Kubeflow deployment.
- A custom JWA image.
Procedure¶
Go to your GitOps repository, inside your
rok-tools
management environment:root@rok-tools:~# cd ~/ops/deploymentsEdit the Jupyter Web App config at
kubeflow/manifests/apps/jupyter/jupyter-web-app/upstream/overlays/deploy/patches/config-map.yaml
and add your custom image to the Jupyter Web App configuration:data: spawner_ui_config.yaml: | spawnerFormDefaults: image: # The container Image for the user's Jupyter Notebook # If readonly, this value must be a member of the list below value: <your_custom_image> # <-- Update this line with the name of your custom image # The list of available standard container Images options: - <your_custom_image> # <-- Update this line with the name of your custom image. - gcr.io/arrikto/jupyter-kale:4a5d7e63-9f74f267Commit your changes:
